Topic sentence is a sentence that explains the main idea or theme of a paragraph. Of course, this topic sentence is very important to organize the paragraph by summarizing the paragraph. Sometimes the topic sentence is also referred to as the focus sentence. This sentence also states the point that the writer wants to convey to the subject. Generally, the topic sentence is at the beginning of the paragraph or can be called the first sentence. Of course, topic sentences have an important role in a paragraph. c. Expository Paragraphs.
Convey information or facts with the aim of providing knowledge or understanding.

Make an argument or opinion, complete with reasons and evidence.
e. Persuasive Paragraphs.
Aim to convince the reader or listener to follow a certain view or action.
f. Mixed Paragraphs.
Combines several types of paragraphs according to the need to convey information or ideas.
